The problem of identity in contemporary world is especially important for person, who, on the one hand, is free from the fetters of traditionally prescribed role and destiny, and on the other hand, feel himself lost in the endless search for stable fulcrum, strong social links, adequate behavior standard.
A person usually identifies himself with some cultural phenomena. This fact affects a lot of fields, for instance, ethnic, civil, social, professional, gender, confessional. This problem can be considered both in a broad sense: for example, how person can combine traditional and modern notions in his conscious and behavior; as well as in the narrow sense: interpersonal relationships and understanding of one's own social role - parent, child, spouse, subordinate, chief and so on.
